Working on Mama Bear Media Group was a large project. We started from scratch creating new branding, logos, and a full website. As always, we start with mood boards to pull in elements from inspiration and nail down colors and style. We knew we needed to incorporate in her signature fuschia pink and possibly tie in some bear elements.
Some early concepts were worked through. At this point, I had proposed a few font choices as well as icons.
We tried out a few of the logos set in the homepage.
We felt that the bear elements in the logo were just not right, even after a few different concepts. Sticking with media elements, I thought the use of the play button, echoed with more play icon triangles, set inside of a rounded rectangle fit so well. It has the media concept of the play button and placed inside the rounded cornered rectangle could also give a nod to a screen.
As for the website, I kept the fuschia, peach, and white elements set in a dynamic homepage that featured the services and portfolio.
